The Challenges of Starting an Organization

Starting a nonprofit is like embarking on an adventure full of surprises! When we decided to create MAS Color, our organization dedicated to supporting families with children with disabilities, we knew we would face many challenges. But honestly, we never imagined that language would be one of the biggest obstacles. Not being native English speakers, everything became a giant puzzle! Between paperwork, forms, and communicating with other professionals, language barriers were felt at every step.

Fortunately, we were lucky enough to have Estefania Godoy and her incredible team at EG Multimedia Design. It was like finding a treasure map! With her experience in content creation and strategy, Estefania perfectly understood what we needed. She offered us a Spanish-first approach from the beginning, making the entire process effortless. Thanks to her, we were able to understand and navigate the complicated administrative processes without losing our way, or feeling like we were in a completely different world!

EG Multimedia Design not only provided us with training in Spanish, but also gave us the tools we needed to communicate our mission clearly and engagingly. This way, we were able to connect not only with the families we serve, but also with other partners and collaborators who are now part of this great adventure. Estefania and her team made the entire process much easier and more understandable, ensuring we could focus on what really matters: growing MAS Color and supporting families in need.

And speaking of partners, we can't do all of this alone! We're truly grateful for the support of our collaborators and the local community. With their help, we've managed to spread the word and begin to grow the MAS Color network. We know that, although we're just getting started, all the teamwork we're building today will lead us to great things tomorrow. And there's nothing more exciting than knowing we're not alone in this!

If we've learned anything, it's that with the support of the incredible community around us, anything is possible! We're still in the early stages, but with each step we take, we feel closer to making MAS Color a space filled with hope, support, and, of course, COLOR.
